BASIC SCIENCES RESEARCH

Our Basic Sciences Research focuses on controlling and reducing the burden of infectious and non-infectious diseases through fundamental scientific investigations.

We conduct immunological and molecular studies to uncover the underlying mechanisms of diseases, paving the way for the development of innovative treatments and prevention strategies.

  1. Develop and execute research proposals and epidemiological surveillance for disease parasites.
  2. Innovate and validate diagnostic tools for accurate parasite diagnosis.
  3. Employ molecular technologies to classify and identify diseases and pathogens.
  4. Enhance capacity in basic sciences, including molecular sciences and diagnostic methods, for both communicable and non-communicable diseases.
