ENT/HEAD AND NECK RESEARCH

This unit is dedicated to conducting research and clinical trials in upper respiratory and ear, nose, and throat (ENT) diseases. In addition to our research activities, we provide comprehensive clinical services to study participants, ensuring they receive expert care and support throughout their involvement in our studies.

This unit focuses on conducting research and clinical trials related to upper respiratory tract and ear, nose, and throat diseases. Additionally, it provides clinical services to study participants.

The division is structured around two main thematic areas:

  1. Infectious Diseases and Inflammation
  2. Oncology
  1. Conduct clinical trials focused on ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions.
  2. Translate research findings into solutions for managing head and neck cancers and other ENT conditions.
  3. Conduct population and outcomes-based research, including quality of life studies, in head and neck cancers.
  4. Collaborate with other units to advance understanding of head and neck cancer and enhance support services.
  5. Undertake research on rhinitis and allergies.
  6. Enhance capacity development for cancer research.
  7. Provide ENT services to support patients and clinical trials.
