This unit focuses on research and development in oral health, providing essential services to patients. We develop and implement solutions and interventions to improve oral health conditions, ensuring comprehensive care and advancements in dental health.

FUNCTIONS

  1. Establish and sustain an oral health surveillance system.
  2. Conduct research to explore factors influencing oral health.
  3. Educate the public and empower communities to attain and uphold optimal oral health.
  4. Collaborate with community partners to maximize resources and advocate for oral health initiatives.
  5. Develop and implement policies and systematic strategies that bolster state and community oral health endeavors.
  6. Engage in implementation science to assess the effectiveness, accessibility, and quality of oral health interventions.
  7. Offer oral health services to the public and study participants.
