KEMRI Strategic Plan 2023-28 Stakeholders Engagement Platform

Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a State Corporation established in 1979 as national body responsible for carrying out research for human health in Kenya. Within the health sector, KEMRI has continued to provide leadership in research & development, shape national health research agenda, promote evidence- based policy formulation, monitor, and assess health trends as well as dealing with trans-boundary health threats and disease outbreaks. In order to effectively execute its mandate, KEMRI has developed Strategic Plan 2023 – 2028 which will lay a firm foundation for development of innovative research products that will support realization of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
